Boi Homen Pageant comes to Rosendale with Amelia Biancardi Performance by IABAS will follow the pageant at 2pm. This community pageant comes from the roots of Brazil. Emilia Biancardi is a musician, professor, and ethnomusicologist who developed the world-famous "Vivi Bahia" production in the 1960's, which popularized much of the music and dances of Bahia. She also founded, in America, IABAS the all women Brazillian folkloric ensemble. Raindate is Monday Oct 10th. Click here for a full schedule of events with Emilia. |

5th annual Frozendale Holiday Festival will be held on Main Street in Rosendale. Starting with a performance by Dog on Fleas at the Rosendale Theatre at 11:00 am and ending with an illuminate ceremony (with cookies and song) at the Rosendale Library. In between, there are hay rides, kids’ activities, vendors, goodie giveaways, a free puppet show at the Redwing Blackbird Theatre, Billy Manas will be performing at 4pm and there will be a free showing of "Polar Express" at the Rosendale Theatre. |
